CRS Boston -- Vision for 2009

Leadership Gathering 11/22/2008

Prayer group leaders gathered in St. Mary’s church hall to reflect on the 2009 vision for Charismatic Renewal in Boston. After a period of praise and personal prayer, Vin Cerasuolo, Director of CRSB, explained the vision he sees for Boston in the coming year. Briefly, the vision is for CRSB prayer groups to be united and led by the Holy Spirit to build and defend the Church.

We are called to be missionary in that we are to help build up the church.

We are called to be strong, assertive, and visible defenders of the church.

We broke into discussion groups to explore practical ways our prayer groups and CRS Boston can help with growth in commitment and decisiveness in formation and training to do missionary outreach in our communities and defense of our faith.

We are looking forward to a bountiful year of Growth in the Spirit in our prayer life and use of the gifts. We seek growth and formation in our knowledge of the Scriptures and Church teaching. And we look for strength, perseverance, and power to persevere and grow leadership through renewal in the Holy Spirit.
