CRSB Leadership Training Day
June 20, 2009
Leaders of Boston Archdiocese prayer
groups gathered at the Espousal Center in Waltham for a day of teaching about
how to build up God’s temple, the Body of Christ. Tony Waddimba, Michael
Mukisa, Anne Kasenge, and Nicole Mukasa, members of the Ugandan charismatic
prayer community, took turns presenting four aspects of building and defending
the Church. These include: Becoming people of praise; Turning away from evil in
our environment; Building on the ethnically diverse gifts we have been given;
and Not excluding anyone from joining our worship.
Our day started with praise led by Anne
Kasenge with Tony Waddimba on the guitar and Michael Mukisa playing keyboard.

The joyful rhythms moved all present to
dance and flow with the praise of our Lord and Savior.

Tony proceeded to introduce the
four-part theme of the day under the following titles:
· Restoring
the temple of praise
·
Tearing down the synagogue of Satan
· Building
a house of prayer for all nations
· Inviting
others to the banquet

Members of the team explored dimensions
of each topic focusing on supporting scriptures.

Each of the presentations was designed
to be followed by small group table discussions. One member from each of the
tables then summarized main points discussed at their table.

All attending were enriched by the abundance
of ideas stemming for our discussions.
By using this CRS Boston training
resource to hone our leadership skills, we are encouraged and better equipped
to build and defend the Body of Christ through our prayer groups.
