Healing Retreat

The Brazilian communities organized a two-day retreat May 8 and 9, 2010 at St. Stephen’s Parish in Framingham.

Father Rufus Pereira from Bombay, India taught and guided our meditation.

Eugenio Jorge traveled from Brazil to be our weekend praise leader.

Vinicius Adamo provided masterful translations between English and Portuguese.

Members of many other Catholic charismatic prayer communities joined the weekend.

Jesus’ Mercy and Mary’s Intercession were cornerstones of our prayer.

Most evident was the constant praise and joy for the healing and freedom won by Jesus’ gift of salvation.
