The
March for Life takes place in Washington D.C. on January 22, 2009 (the
anniversary of the Roe v. Wade decision) or the closest weekday if the 22nd
falls on a weekend. Hundreds of
thousands of people attend the March each year and it has become quite the
youth event. There are many
activities surrounding the March, particularly the Vigil Mass for Life which
takes place at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception
the night before the March.
The
MCFL website lists the buses from Massachusetts (see link below). Most, if not all of these buses are now
full.
